During the Christmas season, most plays and Church programs we attend typically end the Christmas story around Luke 2:20. From Luke’s account, he reminds us of Mary & Joseph, Jesus being placed in a manger, and the shepherds and angels rejoicing that the Savior has been born. But the Christmas story doesn’t end in Luke 2:20. Beginning in v. 21, God includes in the Christmas story an unknown man who only shows up this one time in Scripture at the birth of Jesus. His name is Simeon. From this message, Pastor Kevin, helps us see why Simeon is an important part of the Christmas story.
