Galen Morris — Deacon

Galen grew up going to church in Northeast Georgia and submitted his life to Christ when he was 14. During his high school years, Galen was very active in the youth group at church and spent time as a counselor at various summer camps from 2006-2010.  

In 2014, Galen graduated with a degree in mass communications from Piedmont College, where he met his wife, Megan Morris. They were married in 2017.

Galen started attending Grace Bible Church in the Fall of 2014 and became a member soon after. He is very involved with Sunday live streaming and sound and operates puppet shows for Grace Kids. Galen works in IT and also has experience in video production.

Bible Doctrine: Essential Teachings of the Christian Faith by Wayne Grudem

What are your hobbies?

Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Biking, Watching Comedy TV & Documentaries, Playing Video/Board games

What is one interesting/random fact about yourself?

My longest kayak journey took me 44 miles across Lake Hartwell in less than 15 hours
