In this message, Pastor Kevin looks at the final verses (2:1-10) of the first section of Job (1:1-2:10). As we open Job chapter 2, we may be surprised that Job is once again, under God’s sovereignty, experiencing suffering at the hands of Satan. We might be tempted to think that Job has already suffered enough. It is obvious from chapter 1 that Job’s suffering has proven that there is such a thing as innocent suffering, and that Job cares more about God’s glory than he does his own personal comfort. So why would God allow another wave of suffering in Job’s life? The answer unfolds in this message as we discover another important theological lesson to keep in mind when we face unexplainable suffering in our lives.
