If you lived in a city that was filled with immorality, wrong beliefs and false teachings about God, along with drunkenness and so many other sins, where would you start to turn the culture around? Would it be through education, more programs, therapy, or something else? Well that is just the kind of city that Crete is, and Titus has been left there to straighten things out. And the first thing that Paul tells him to do is to ordain Elders in every city. But it’s not just any kind of Elders, it is men who are godly and who display the Gospel through their lives.
