In this sermon, Pastor Zack looks at Paul’s update concerning his situation in Philippians 1:12-18a. While the Philippians Church would have doubtlessly been looking forward to an update on what is going on with Paul, the Apostle spends very little time focusing on his situation. Instead, he is preoccupied with what his sufferings have accomplished — the advancement of the Gospel. Through these verses, we see that we, too, can rejoice in the advance of the Gospel in spite of our circumstances and in spite of our motives.
