In this message, Pastor Kevin points out that God has recored a long list of names in Nehemiah 7 for a specific purpose. They are not randomly listed to just fill up space in our Bible. That list of names is given for us historically to show who among the Jews had returned to the land, as well as spiritually to remind us that God knows each of his people by name. Though no one else may know who they are, their lives matter to Him. And from this list of names we can discover why their lives counted for God and eternity, and how our lives can too.
