In this Easter Sunday message, Pastor Kevin draws our attention to two ordinary disciples who are traveling on the road to Emmaus. They were discouraged, disappointed, and most of all ignorant of what the Scriptures were saying about the suffering of Jesus. As they are walking on the road to Emmaus, the resurrected Jesus — who is unknown to them because they were divinely hindered from recognizing Him— appears and begins to explain the Scriptures to them, allowing them to see who this resurrected Savior truly is. This story is a great reminder of how the resurrected Jesus continues to reveal Himself to us and transform our lives through the Scriptures.
