As Pastor Kevin continues his series in 2 John he returns to the theme of the letter, which is about truth. As John reminds this lady, and us, we are to live by the truth (v.4), love the truth (vs. 5-6), and now John teaches us that we are to be loyal to the truth (vs. 7-9). In order for us to be loyal to the truth we must keep our spiritual eyes open to false teaching that abounds so that we are not drawn away from Christ and the Word of God. But how do we recognize false teaching? Is it by a list of names, or is there a better way? As we study this passage, John answers those questions for us.
