1 Thessalonians 2:1-8 — Faithful Ministry: Message, Motives, & Manner

In this sermon, Pastor Zack continues our study of 1 Thessalonians by turning to the next section of the book, beginning in chapter 2. Here in the first 8 verses of 1 Thessalonians 2, we see Paul defending and commending his ministry to the Thessalonians from some who had critiqued and mischaracterized him. In learning from what Paul points to as the marks of his faithful ministry, we are able to learn what a faithful ministry in our own lives looks like today. Whether it’s the pastor in the pulpit or the church member ministering to one another, we are all called to minister as servants of Christ, and thus we will all benefit from learning the marks of a faithful ministry.
