1 Thessalonians 1:6-10 — A Life Worth Imitating: Joyfully Persevering

In this sermon, Pastor Zack continues our study of 1 Thessalonians by looking at chapter 1, verses 6-10. In these verses, we see Paul commending the Thessalonian church for imitating himself, his team, and the Lord Jesus. In doing so, they became an example themselves to all the Christians in their area. What was it about their lives that Paul commended? What made their lives worth imitating? In this sermon, Pastor Zack looks at the first of four things that we’ll see in this passage — these believers were joyfully persevering in the suffering and affliction that had come their way.
