In this sermon, Pastor Zack looks at Psalm 73 and the envy and jealously of the prosperity of the wicked that arose in Asaph’s heart, and arises so often in our hearts as Christians. We begin to ask questions like, “How is that fair?” and “Is living a godly life even worth it?” In this sermon, we learn from the story of Asaph in Psalm 73 and learn why it is that we struggle with envy and what we are to do about it. Ultimately, we each need a Godward, eternal, heavenly perspective from God’s Word on the fate of the wicked, the sinfulness of our own hearts, and the blessed reality of God’s presence and eternal blessings to His people.
