In this sermon, Pastor Zack continues our verse-by-verse study of the Gospel of Mark by looking at Jesus’ continued conflicts with the Jewish religious readers of His day. In this section, we see Jesus’ authority continue to be put on full display as He exercises His authority as Lord of the Sabbath, over sickness and demons, and in the calling and commissioning of His 12 disciples. As we come face to face with Jesus’ authority in this section, we will be challenged to consider how we are obeying and submitting to His authority in our own lives.
