In this sermon, Pastor Zack continues our study of Mark’s Gospel by looking at Mark 13:1-31 — Jesus’ longest teaching section in Mark’s Gospel, and perhaps the most complex and difficult to interpret passage in the Gospel. The major question that we have to answer when coming to Mark 13 is, “Is this prophecy by Jesus something that was fulfilled in the generation of the disciples, or is this prophecy that is yet-to-be fulfilled in the second coming of Jesus.” In this sermon, Pastor Zack tries to untangle the web of complexity surrounding these issues in order to better understand the chapter.
