In this sermon, Pastor Zack continues our verse-by-verse study of the Gospel of Mark by looking at the continuation of Jesus’ public ministry in Mark 1:29-45. In these verses we see Jesus heal Peter’s mother-in-law, heal the many, and heal the leper. And right in the middle of these episodes, we learn that Jesus’ healing ministry, though being misunderstood and misconstrued by the masses, is meant to point to the coming of the Kingdom of God and the call for all people to repent of sin and turn to God by faith.
