In this sermon, Pastor Zack continues our study of Mark’s Gospel by looking at Mark 12:18-27. In this passage, we have yet another attack from the religious leaders — this time by a new group, the Sadducees. Seeking to trap Him with an extreme hypothetical, the Sadducees grill Jesus on the topic and nature of the resurrection. Jesus, though, both affirms the reality of the resurrection while adjusting their wrong assumptions that the resurrection life would simply be a continuation of this life.
