In this sermon, Pastor Zack continues our study of Mark’s Gospel by looking at Mark 10:23-31. In this passage immediately following the interaction with the rich young ruler, Jesus now uses this as an opportunity to teach His disciples regarding the danger of riches. Because one cannot serve both God and money, and because riches presents a dangerous opportunity for pride, self-sufficiency, and arrogance to creep in, Jesus warns His disciples of the danger that riches pose in regard to the Kingdom of God.
