In this sermon, Pastor Kevin introduces us to what makes the New Covenant better. After looking at the first 5 verses of chapter 8 and seeing that the author identifies the main point as the fact that Jesus has taken his seat and entered the true sanctuary, Pastor Kevin turns our attention to verses 6-13 to see why this new covenant is better. In verses 7-13, the author gives us 8 benefits, or promises, of this new covenant. In this first part to the study, the first of these 8 is discussed.
