In this final chapter of Amos’ prophecy, Amos presents the fifth and final judgment, telling of how the Lord’s judgment is at hand. It will be a judgment that is through, inescapable, and in accordance with God’s character. But in His mercy, the book does not end with destruction, but with restoration. One day, God will restore His people, fulfilling all His promises to them, and displaying His mercy and grace to them.
