In this sermon, Pastor Zack looks at Paul’s prayer for the Thessalonian believers in 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3 and helps us ask the question, “What does a life worth remembering look like?” In this prayer, we will see Paul’s thanksgiving arise from his remembering some things about these believers — their work of faith, labor of love, and steadfastness of hope. As we understand what these things are and why they cause such thanksgiving in Paul’s prayer, we will be strengthened and challenged to pursue the same threefold virtues in our own lives as children of God.
