In part 3 of this message — Antichrist, Anointing, Abiding — Pastor Kevin concludes his study by helping us look at the final two key words in this passage — the anointing and the abiding. In the previous message we saw that the spirit of the antichrist is at work in the lost person to lead them to deny the confession — Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. And yet, while the spirit of the antichrist is at work to draw people away from Christ, the anointing is the assurance that the believer will not deny Christ, and as he abides in Christ and the Word he will continue to persevere in the faith.
