These verses capture well the goal of our children’s ministry at Grace Bible Church — Commending His works and Declaring His acts from one generation to another. The children’s ministry, together with all of the ministries in our church, seeks to partner together to accomplish our five-fold purpose:

  • Exalting God’s Grace
  • Growing God’s People
  • Reaching God’s World
  • Preaching God’s Word
  • Modeling God’s Love

At Grace Bible Church, we are convinced and committed to the fact that parents are, and should be, the primary teachers and influences in the lives of their children. Our Children’s Ministry at GBC seeks to come alongside the parents in this process of teaching and training their children. In order to accomplish this, there are a variety of resources and programs that we offer for the children at GBC:

SUNDAY SCHOOL — SUNDAY MORNINGS — 9:30-10:30am

We offer a few children’s Sunday School classes, intended to lay a foundation for the faith by emphasizing the truths of Scripture in an age-appropriate way. The classes, along with where the child’s class is located, is listed below:

  • Ages 2-5 — ROOM 2
  • 1st – 3rd Grade — ROOM 3
  • 4th – 6th Grade — ROOM 7
  • 7th – 12th Grade — ASSOCIATE PASTOR’S OFFICE

WEDNESDAY NIGHT Grace Kids — 6:00-7:15pm

Our Wednesday night is an evening for the WHOLE Family. We have three children’s classes, separated by ages, a youth class, a special needs class, and an adult class.

Each week, in addition to the great truths that the adults have learned in their Bible study, parents receive a take home paper that lets them know what their children have learned that night at Grace Kids. This enables parents to continue the work of ministry at home with their children, regardless of age, and ensures that the whole family is growing in their knowledge of God’s Word together.

FAMILY EVENTS — Various

Throughout the year we schedule events that are intended not only to allow the children to have fun, but also to encourage and equip parents in their role as the primary influence in their children’s lives. Sometimes these events are pure fun, sometimes they are instructive, and sometimes a mixture. But every time, they are intended to bring the family together and equip the family to be better disciple-makers in the home.
