Matt Leff has been a member of Grace Bible Church since January of 2020, and began serving as the Director of Music in August of 2021. As a bi-vocational leader, Matt also serves as the band director at Rabun County High School. Matt has been involved in Church music ministry since 2000, serving as Minister of Music at Hill Street Baptist Church in Toccoa, GA (2000-2003) and Rothwell Baptist Church in Pooler, GA (2007-2018).
Matt holds degrees from Toccoa Falls College (B.S. 2003) and the University of Georgia (M.M.Ed. 2009, Ed.D. 2018). Matt has also served as the director of bands at Effingham County High School in Springfield, GA and has been active in the Georgia Music Educators Association as a member and district leader throughout his career in education.
Matt was raised in a Christian home, coming to Christ at a very young age, and is indebted to the discipleship and spiritual mentoring of his father and grandfather throughout his life. Matt is married to Nycole Leff, who has served alongside him in Music Ministry throughout their engagement and marriage. Nycole also serves as the Band Director at Rabun County Middle School. The couple has two children; Andy (13) and Charlie (11). The family lives in Tiger, GA.

I chose to pursue music very late in my educational journey. Up until that point, I always wanted to be a history teacher/baseball coach.
